Room & Recourse assembles what each state publishes about involuntary nursing-home transfer and discharge, one page per state, with the federal floor — 42 CFR 483.15, the fair-hearing rules, and CMS's own guidance — on a page of its own. Every claim on every page is a verbatim quotation from a captured, dated source, or a plainly stated absence.

The method is mechanical on purpose. Sources are captured as full text with the source's own date and the retrieval date. Pages quote those captures word for word — extraction artifacts and the publishers' own typos included — and a checker verifies before publication that every quotation, phone number, email address, and hostname on a page appears in its captured sources, and that no advisory language appears anywhere outside quotation. Where a state publishes nothing on a question — bed-hold especially, where Medicaid-plan materials can be genuinely silent — the page records the absence and what was searched, because an absence you know about is worth more than a guess.

The boundaries are the product. The pages determine nothing about any notice or any case, evaluate no facility's stated reason, calculate no deadlines, and predict no outcomes. Dates and periods are quoted from the sources. Corrections are welcome, on the record, at hello@fieldassembly.net.
